On November 26th Study in Serbia took part in the Study in Europe webinar, which brought together presenters from different European countries. Over one thousand prospective students from Kenya, Tunisia and Egypt participated in online info sessions and received information about studying possibilities in Europe. Our slot was very popular as around 120 participants took part in our webinar presentation.

During October and November 2019, Study in Serbia took part in three big international education fairs, which were held in Istanbul (Turkey), Baku (Azerbaijan) and Casablanca (Morocco). Nearly one thousand visitors - high school students, students, parents and other interested parties were introduced with studying opportunities in Serbia.

Study in Serbia participated in 31st Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, which was held from 24^th until 27^th of September 2019. in Helsinki, Finland. With 6200 higher education professionals from 95 countries and more than 240 exhibition stands, it is Europe´s largest international higher education conference and exhibition.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Tempus Foundation is implementing an initiative aimed at the internationalization of higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia, as a part of Study in Serbia initiative.

NCO Serbia invites interested students from Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia to apply for CEEPUS mobility in Serbia. Deadlines are: 31^st October for applications within CEEPUS networks and 30 November for freemover mobilities.

Foreign students who wish to study at Serbian universities in the academic year 2019/2020 can now use the new Study in Serbia catalogue to explore study programmes in Serbia that are accredited in English or other foreign languages.

„Study in Serbia“ initiative participated in the 20th „Education & Career 2019. Exhibition“  education fair in Almaty, Kazahstan, from 4th to 6th of April 2019. „Study in Serbia“ stand was very busy, since over 250 participants visited the stand during the three day fair.

Study in Serbia participated in “Study in Europe Fair Ukraine”, which was held on March 2nd 2019. in Ukrainian capital of Kiev. Participants and interested students were able to visit the stand and find out more about studying opportunities for international students in Serbia.

As of 2019, Study in Serbia portal has become a part of Study in Europe initiative.

In this way, Serbia joined 33 European countries that, through this initiative, offer quality information on available opportunities for international students.

The Republic of Serbia has become a full member of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), which will enable the participation of members of the academic and scientific community of Serbia in various activities and competitions of this prestigious international organization.
